2009 Features Requests

1. I think Some Music Tracks must also be put in the game.

Not especially sure how useful this would be.

3. Some ODI Series must be of 7 match too & No Test Series must be of just 2 tests.

There are already 7-match ODI series in the game. As for the test matches: there are 2-test series in real life. Why not in the game?

5. The Referral System Must also be included in TESTS and ODIs and T20s also.

9. All Runouts must not be a direct hit and some must be refeerred to 3rd Umpire.

The 3d visualisation engine is a reflection of the workings of the game engine. It makes no difference to the realism of the game whether the run outs are direct hits or not.

That said, some of your other suggestions have been suggested in the past and are reasonable.

Something worth noting at this point: it's fairly safe to say that suggestions made now are not going to be considered by the game's makers.

tbh, for myself I find the Twenty20 part the most annoying part, so I wouldn't mind not having the IPL or world T20 cup in...IPL would be hard to implement, but I think that the world T20 would be easy enough.

My only wish is for other leagues really.

Make the game more interesting

Please try to do the following:::---

1. I think Some Music Tracks must also be put in the game.

2. If not getting the license of IPL , change its name and Name it anything like Cricket Premier League or something like that.

3. Some ODI Series must be of 7 match too & No Test Series must be of just 2 tests.

4. Man Of The Tournament must be there.

5. The Referral System Must also be included in TESTS and ODIs and T20s also.

6. In INTERNATIONAL TOURS, T20 matches must be more than 1. Would be better if a T20 SERIES of 3 matches be there in every tour.

7. If IPL or something like that happens in the game, THe AUCTION must be there for players so that the MANAGER i.e the user can control ONE TIME through out his career.

8. All The Players must be an option for OVERSEAS Player in COUNTY CRICKET.

9. All Runouts must not be a direct hit and some must be refeerred to 3rd Umpire.

10. A TROPHY CABINET must also be made in which The HIISTORY of UESR's achievement be there.

11. A option of RESIGNATION must be there in International cricket so that the user can COntrol another Team when he gets bored or dissatisfied with a team.

12. There must be a MANAGER AVATAR and A MANAGER PROFILE too.

13. THE 18 Player squad for foreign tours ust not be there.....PLEASEEE........... Separarte Squads for T20s and ODIs and TESTS must be there

14. SHOAIB AKHTAR msut be back.

15. POINT NO. 13 JUSTIFICATION---- Suppose I pick a Squad of INdia for AUSTRALIA so I want DRAVID , LAXMAN, KUMBLE, GANGULY and MUNAF PATEL Just for TEST MATCHES so I would face a problem on selecting players for T20s and ODIs. So...It is my humble request to change this.

Bringing the keeper up to the stumps for medium pacers

I think there should be an option for you to be able to bring the keeper up to the stumps when bowling with a medium pacer or fast medium. Either to creat pressure and to get stumpings if batsmen out of crease.

Also i think not all stumpings should be given out and not all runouts should be direct hits. Maybe a third umpire refferal would be good for close decisions.

News reel

How about a News reel or a cricket season weekly. For example if a player has scored runs consistently, a young player has done something etc or if a former player has become a coach of team? maybe do some made sports channel or cricket newspaper that brings you that news during a season. That way when you are an International Manager you can keep tabs on this.

Important - ipl

See..Administrators - I guess If you are not getting a LICENSE of IPL or anything like that...You must change the name of the teams and the tournament so I feel there would be no problem. You can name it CRICKET PREMIER LEAGUE and make a THREAD on deciding gthe team names or so.

No need of domestic cricket

I guess the 2009 Version must be fully dedicated to International Events like IPL , T-20 WORLD CUP, WORLD CUP and Various Series. I wish The COUNTY CRICKET must be scrapped from the game because INTERNATIONAL users of this game according to me are not interested in it . So..More Concentration must be on International Events so that the game is a success.

Following Features must be great:

I think 2009 ICC Version must be the greatest and the best in the business. The following features must surely be incorporated in the 2009 version -

1. MAN OF THE SERIES AFTER EVERY SERIES

2. GROUND DETAILS

3. WORLD RECORDS MUST BE SAVED ALWAYS & PLAYER RECORDS MUST NOT BE DELETED AFTER THEY RETIRE.

4. WHEN SELECTING A TEAM, THE CAPTAIN MUST ALSO BE SELECTED SO THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO CHANGE THE CAPTAIN AFTER EVERY MATCH.

5. WORLD T-20 , IPL and CHAMPIONS TROPHY MUST ALSO BE INCLUDED.

6. I THINK THE 2009 or 2010 VERSION must be dedicated to IPL and AUCTIONS STAGE MUST ALSO BE INCLUDED

Why not instead of International trial matches as AmateurMadaman have second international teams eg. Australia A play South Africa A as Australia play South Africa just to test out players.

a few ideas

I think also that ball speeds would be a good idea

but say if you needed 4 runs of the last ball of a one day match even if you put the batsman on very aggressive there is no guarantee he is going to get the amount needed a good feature would to be able to communicate better with the batsman for situations like this.

Another good idea would be if you could gain income from the second team if they did well in their division

Another idea would be to have some players rejecting offers because the dont like the team or sometimes players leaving teams say, for faternity leave or if they werent happy with how the team is going and wanted to join another team

Another feature that would make the game less monotonous wouldbe for the coach (you) to physically go to the training and help train certain players rather than just allocating practices

If you are a domestic team a scout might come along and pick a few players to attend two or three international trial matches (or Probables vs Possibles as they are called in rugby

also having other countries having domestic tournaments would be nice (Aus, Ind, SA, Nz etc.)

i have many other ideas they just havent sprung to my mind i will post them as soon as i remember

Forgot if I mentioned this, but new ranking system for Test/ODI teams. It doesn't have to replicate the ICC method, but something more advanced than simply series won/lost

Including the domestic competition of each test playing nation as a playable domestic competition would involve licensing, and a lot of work to create all those set-ups, also would there be much demand for weaker systems like the WI domestic set-up and the Sri Lankan domestic set-up?

The same as with real life you don't get any points from winning it.

On the subject of IPL, that depends on licencing issues plus it would be incredibly hard to implement into the game.

To answer other questions from above the Refferal system shouldn't be in as it is only being tested as the moment as might not be used after the trial.

Indian players don't have first names later on in the game as the developers don't which type of names go with which in terms of which names are Muslim or Hindi and which surname they should go with.

regarded as "retired player" and their records should be present.
