I think you need to adjust the international seasons a bit. I get players retiring with 200 ODI's and 100 tests.. More ODI's, like one off 3-5 game series or random tri-tournaments every now and then.

Also through in the minnows! I love playing international mode with bangladesh and zimbabwe so if u through in other minnow teams that u can lead through the icc competition and into world cups and gradually into odi tours.. that'd be pretty awsome.

And the New Zealand domestic season!

One small thing that I just remembered... it would be useful if the next version could include given names for Indian and Pakistani regens. For instance, you can use lists like these ones:

Obviously there would have to be a bit more checking to see which ones are more common than others, but it's something worth considering rather than just having initials.

I can provide up to 300 surnames and fore names for Pak and Bangladesh players in listed manner in txt format just hit me a PM if you need it Chris.

One more thing Chris dont be a traditional game developer like Codies or EA plz communicate more often with the community.

One thing i am hoping for is the option of choosing ur international players when u start a county game, because in ICC08 if u start with for example with Durham S Chanderpaul is already chosen as ur overseas player but in ICC06 ashes sedition u can chose ur player before th season starts whic is wat i would like back!

I'll talk to Chris about names, I'll probably be the one who ends up doing it anyway so it could very well happen.

I have sent him a list of the best features from in here, there will be some changes to 2009 but be aware that not all of them will be included. However, Chris is hoping by 2010 to have a completely different game, including a lot of these requests.

It is unlikely that any of the requests from now on will be included, thanks for all your suggestions though!

OK I spoke to Chris, the issue with the names is getting Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and European surnames to match first names of the same nature. At the moment, initials are the safest bet.

However, Chris informs me that if someone with a decdent knowledge of these names was able to create some separate files for each, it might work out.

If you are willing to help out muhammad saad or someone else, I will provide you with a file of the current surnames, and you could separate them into those categories, then create separate first name files for the same categories - then Chris will code it into the game. Let me know if you are.

Mac version

Could someone tell me if it is possible that a mac version could be released?

How much work has to be done to make it mac compatible?

Hopefully the Aussie Domestic comp will be in it this time.

I'd guess that a Mac version probably would not be developed. Keep in mind that the creation and improvement of this game are not undertaken by a large team of developers like one of the really big commercial games. It is the product of hard work by a few individuals. Consequently, there is limited scope and viability in trying to create a Mac edition of ICC, especially given the small size of the market. If this were a more widely distributed game with a larger development team, it might be worth considering catering to that small market; but in relative terms, this is a small fish.

Australian Domestic Season

Is there any chance that you could tell me if The Australian Domestic Season is in the game.
It is clearly the best in the world, i personally think it should be there.

there really shouldn't be a reason to not have a player editor - lots of games have online versions and also data editors. It certainly adds the playability and is the main reason why i still bust out icc2002 a lot because of the ability to edit stats and players.

we don't need player editor . We want realistic game .

You can defeat any body with edited players online . Which is not good for the game .

The Stadiums should be detailed.Also there should be difference in ground size as some grounds are smaller in real world.
