  • Cricket Captain 2024 cross-platform support?

    Apologies if I missed this in the official docs;

    Does CC 2024 support cross-platform play?

    I.e., if I start a game on PC (Dropbox sync enableD), can I continue that same save game on another platform, i.e. Mobile (provided that Dropbox sync is enabled there as well)?

    EDIT: I managed to find the relevant info in the FAQ:
    • How does the "saving to the cloud" feature work?
    • If you have Dropbox installed on your machines the cloud saves will work automatically once you have ticked the “Enable Dropbox” box on the options menu, this will take you to the dropbox authorisation page. If you do not have DropBox installed, you can get it from here: https://www.dropbox.com. When you save your game it will save a copy to the Dropbox. When you load, Cricket Captain will load the game with the furthest progressed in-game date between the drop-box and local copy. This means you will always be able to play the game that you have played most recently between the machines. This works between PCs, and between PC/iPhone/Android/Mac.
    Will be picking up a copy of the PC version now as well

      Yes, indeed you can. Please note there have been some dropbox API changes which sometimes cause problems with the game, if you ever find yourself in a situation where the saves aren't syncing, please disable dropbox on the device, select No to keep authentication. Then re-enable dropbox. Should only take a few seconds if you're signed in to dropbox on your browser.

      There's no Dropbox support with Nintendo Switch.
