I’m a man for milestones, because 99s don’t show up in the stats box for players. I always try to postpone declarations so players get to milestones, and farm the strike in easy chases if someone’s approaching a ton. I do the same bowling, letting tired players chase a 5for. Colour me disgusted then, when my own AI (with my watchful eye away at the World Cup) strands my opening bat on 99 with a declaration, in a game we eventually win comfortably! Does anyone else have any stories of the AI coaching being so cold-blooded?
