Cricket Captain is a management simulator, you control the team, but not the actual shots the batsmen play or the deliveries the bowler bowls.

2013 was the last version to have this feature, it was dropped when we moved to the new User Interface system. It's unlikely to return to the game any time soon.

I really miss that mode, used to enjoy it offline by simulating 2 teams at a time

I remember in ICC 2009, there was a feature where I could click Two Player Game, and then Load 2 custom teams to play each other. What other versions of ICC have this feature?
