    ODI, FC, T20, Test Tactics

    So there really isn't one resource for this, but can anyone recommend briefly what to do for these 4 different modes? Not necessarily in detail, but atleast something to work from. I'm not even considering tweaked field settings even though apparently those make a big difference too.

    Are you the same Jadax who asked this question on the Steam forums more than 6 months ago? All the forums are pretty dead. You might get a little more luck in the Cricket Captain 2019 forum, as that's the latest version (and the tactics will be mostly the same).

    There are some good guides on Steam, written by Sureshot (who, as far as I understand, works for Childish Things, or at least has been very closely affiliated with them for a very long time):

    Over the years, it has occasionally been possible to find bits and pieces written by Chris Child (the main developer of the game) himself. For example, some old tips for ICC/ICC2 can be found here (note that some of these tips are still good, some will be a bit dated):

    In the old days (before Steam), the game used to come with a paper booklet with basic instructions and hints. I couldn't find the one for 2018, but this 2015 version probably covers most stuff. The tips are in Chapter 5 (page 27):

    You may notice that many of the tips in the 2015 manual are the same as Chris Child's tips from the original ICC (1998). That makes sense, since the basic game of cricket is still the same too :)
