  • 37 Year International Career

I wanted to try to get this career up to 50 years but ICC 2019 was released so I am unfortunately going to have to drop this save game file.

I don't mind because in the end there was a lack of decent all-rounders and wicketkeepers coming through to the Australian side and alot of repeated surnames.

One of my greatest achievements during this career was getting a Leg Spinner to not only surpass Murali's Test Wickets record, but actually smash it out of the park with 1000+ Test Wickets.

Aside from that, it was a lackluster career that saw Pakistan DOMINATE the Test/ODI/T20 rankings for 30 years. I enjoyed short stints as No. 1 Test/ODI team and don't think I got higher than 3rd for T20.

    Top 8 Test Wickets (2055)

Rabada becomes arguably the greatest fast bowler in history, the rest of the list dominated by spin bowlers.

    Legend - John Morrison

The last decent all-rounder Australia produced. ODI specialist retired around 2044.

      Top 8 Test Match Runs
37 years on and Alistair Cook still sits comfortably on top ahead of the Master. Generating players such as Veenstra, Persaud, Pollock and Ahangama are making their names known.

      Top 8 ODI Runs

For those wondering if the great Virat Kohli would ever overtake Sachin in ODI runs, the answer is not even close. Babar Azam and once again Ahangama among the generated players to appear on this list.

      Top 8 T20 Runs

Babar Azam gave me massive headaches just about everytime I played Pakistan. Unstoppable across all formats. Dion Leith appears at number 8 on this list who was my key batsman & captain once Steve Smith departed.

        ODI WORLD CUP (2023-2047)

I think the next two World Cups were Pakistan 2051 and India 2055. Suggestion for future versions of the game, make the World Cups history viewable at any time. Perhaps also the ability to view total number of cups won.

        TOTAL WORLD CUPS
        8 - Australia
        4 - Pakistan
        3 - India
        2 - West Indies
        1 - Bangladesh
        1 - South Africa
        1 - Sri Lanka

^ ^ A table like this would be great in future versions of the game :)

          RECORDS - Test
No Test Match records were broken so to speak...

RECORDS - Highest Fourth Innings Run Chase : 423

Probably the biggest win of my 37 year career. Coming from behind to defeat the invincible Pakistan. Adam Orton top scored with 148, Orton went on to be Dion Leith's replacement as key batsman/captain.

          RECORDS - Test Partnerships

Again, no Test records broken here. Modern-day batsmen are probably too aggressive to ever touch on these numbers.

          RECORDS - ODI
Steve Smith 226 in a game that saw Australia score 475 against Zimbabwe on a flat GABBA pitch in 2020.
John Jacob tearing it up with leggies in 2043 with an outstanding performance against Pakistan.

          RECORDS - ODI Partnerships

2042 - Dennis Stewart & Chris Poole put on 318 against the poms. Stewart went on to score more Test runs than any other Australian batsman.

2030 - Tim Schofield & Ricky Reeds put on 301* at Christchurch. Scofield was one of those hyper-aggressive batsman.
