Cricket Captain 2017 Database Feedback thread

Hi Sureshot, just a couple of suggestions for the database, let me know which ones you will change:

England
Ryan Sidebottom (the Australian one who plays for Victoria) should be added to Warwickshire as a Kolpak player as he recently joined their squad and holds dual citizenship.

Changed.

Australia
Marnus Labuschange should have average aggression rather than very defensive (I believe I have mentioned this on the discord, his strike rate is equivalent to Joe Burns who is average and he scores quite quickly, especially in limited overs)

Changed to medium.

Jay Lenton should be defensive, I know from watching him in grade that he bats moderately quickly. He hasn't had much of a chance in pro cricket yet.

Sort of a strange one, but Bird's first name should be 'Jackson', not 'Jack'

Clinton McKay's first name should also be just 'Clint', I also believe he retired from international cricket

It's actually pretty awkward for us to change player names, whilst we can, it's pretty error prone. Fortunately editing player names is easy, go in to the player's profile and select the editing pencil to change their name.

Tim Paine has been in the very defensive zone for quite a few games now and it's not really how he bats, he should be defensive or average.

Upped to defensive.

Jackson Koop should be RFM and a bowler rather than an all-rounder.

There are a few missing rookie contracted players from Queensland:
Max Bryant: All Rounder, RHB, RM, very aggressive style, opener in OD and T20, born 10/03/1999 (batting as strongest skill)

Jack Prestwige: Bowler, RFM (from previous game)

Bryce Street: Batsman, LHB, RM

Lastly, an Updated Cricket Australia Contracts list needed. These players need to be on a CA contract:

Narine should be an all-rounder and opening batsman in T20. He opens both in the CPL and IPL and has scored a few runs. Definitely doesn't deserve to just be a bowler anymore

Shadab Khan for Pakistan needs a big upgrade and probably should be a bowler only.

Yasir Shah and Mohammed Amir need a slight increase.

When playing against England, Woakes and Broad always take the new ball. Can you make sure Anderson takes it instead of Woakes ?

Patrick Brown and George Scrimshaw both played for Worcestershire in T20 blast this season (Both RMF)
Josh Tongue could do with improving as hes been performing very well in first class cricket this season.

Feedback carried over from the database feedback forum that I missed as the post was unapproved (from Aalay)

Steve Croft is listed as very defensive but surely he's average if not aggressive.

Currently he's defensive, got a good OD strike rate this season, but not utterly amazing in 20 overs. He's probably average, so changed to that.

Also Delray Rawlins could do with an ability upgrade but admittedly that's based on potential. Craig Overton does seem to be freakishly economical but I'll take it.

Northants - Noticed that Duckett keeps wicket ahead of Rossington in the game, don't think Duckett has kept for a while, everytime I've watched Northants Rossington is behind the stumps.

Changed, he's not played list a, but have made him opener for that, too.
