Cricket Captain 2016 Bug Reports

Is Windows 10 the root of all evil as far as this game goes? Have played CC 2015 without issues since updating to W10 but now CC 2016 boots-up with the "OpenGL 2.0 is needed (openGL 1.1 found) and isn't compatible with this machine." message.

Any thoughts? Not really keen on rolling back as my Windows7 installation was full of bugs anyway.

Have e-mailed support, so mainly being impatient to get playing by posting on here!

ok so ive added cricket coach to my avg exemptions and this made no difference reinstalled game and again no change and i have rolled back drivers on graphics cards again without change..i dont have any other security programmes or trials on the computer...any thing else i can do? if not ill try to get a refund and wait for cricket coach 2016 to come out

I think I replied to you on the e-mails, this will be related to your drivers. If we can get drivers working for you on Win10, then we're all good to go.

For everyone having problems starting the game and who are getting hangs on VC redist package, I think I've found the issue with this, but need a bit more time investigating. Will update again tomorrow.

Been frustrating, but I'm crossing my fingers every way they go...

Start of second season with Surrey, won all competitions in my first. So was expecting to play the MCC at the start of the season after winning the County Championship but nothing, then was expecting to play a university side ... did not play one. Is this a potential bug?

Qualified for second round for ODI World Cup with Ireland and the game automatically sims my quarter final without giving me the option to play it.

I've downloaded the MAC version today and there seems to be a real issue when left clicking - I have to double click for game to recognise a 'click', only for it to then think it is a double click and the player profile screen, for example, disappears. Another example to help make my point clearer, i want an aggression bar of 2 when batting: 1 click, no response, double click the bar increases by 2.

Any suggestions?

I have download CC2016 from Apple store on iPAD. before reporting bugs - congratulations on VERY GOOD release!!!
1. I am playing as "Gujarat" in Indian 20 over league and going into NEXT season in 2017 - which doing contracts I found two of my India players (R Jadeja and Pravin kumar) + ALL main Indian players are showing 0% availability. in Indian 20 league all indian players are suppose to be available. I have seen this bug first time in CC2016. never seen this is past versions.

2: Same problem with Australia 20 league. Austrian players are not available in between tournament. in real life BBL all Australian players are always available during BBL.

3. one thing I have noticed is players with 100% availability (including overseas players) in Indian and Aus league still drops off in between season. in real life, 100% availability of player means it will stay with team till end of the tournament.

4. I was also playing 20 over WC as India and found out that, I am not able to select any players other than already selected 15 member squad. I can remove the players but can't see list of all India players to choose from.

Not sure if this is a bug yet or not.

Just bought the game, and I am playing with Surrey in the County again.

After only two matches played, I appear to be losing players to long term injuries.

Dernbach - 8 weeks, Meaker - 4 weeks, Harinath - 2 weeks, Foakes - 2 weeks, Van Den Berg - 2 weeks.

I also have 3 players away on International duty, Finch, Bravo and Morris.

It is certainly stretching the squad. What happens if I cannot field 11 players?

Not that I have ever encountered that in any version I have played since the early days of the game.

edit: This is happening consistently. I am losing players almost every match to long term injury.

Just lost Sibley for 4 weeks, and he wasn't even picked for 1st team.

I haven't seen any reply to this post. I am constantly losing players to 3-4 weeks injuries every match I play.

Has to be a bug in the game surely.

This has been fixed in latest Steam build, will be fixed in next iOS/Mac/Android build (this week).

Very minor bug but I was playing a game earlier (iPhone version) and the first over of the second day it said 0 overs remaining, and the batsman were both still settled from the night before.

Changed back to unsettled and 1hr56 left after the first over.

A small bug but playing as Kent, if I sign an overseas player specifically for T20, their availability (e.g selected for national team & returning from IPL) still shows up in my updates the season after they've left alongside other players that are still contracted

Let us know, Michael. We've been discussing how we handle batting positions today with plans for future versions, can be tricky to balance.

The England Test line-up also starts a bit skewed in the series against SL (played through several times). Ian Bell playing as a specialist batsman at 7 (a la Faf), below Stokes and Bairstow. I'll let you know others when I play some more.
