Cricket Captain 2014 New version (14.14) released

An updated version of Cricket Captain 2014 has been released, including a World Cup 2015 database and scenario, allowing you to play the tournament with updated squads and statistics (available through the “Tournament” option). This is out now on PC and Android and has been submitted to Apple for approval on iOS and Mac (available in approximately one week).

Details of the update are included below. We are also in the final stages of adding new stadiums and expect these to be available next week. The update will also include any late replacements to the World Cup squads.

Fix list update (PC version 14.14):
- Updated Australian domestic squads for 2014-15 season.
- Updated World Cup 2015 mode and squads.
- Additional database changes as suggested by the forum.
- Added batting preference tool tips (PC/Mac).
- Added batting preferences to Match Stats in Player Profile (iOS/Android).
- Fixed corrupted saved game recovery.
- Fixed Dropbox failing to update after cancel/lost connection (iOS/Mac).

Further updates next week:
- New stadiums, including international venues for England & Australia.
- Keyboard control system.
- Added delay before displaying wicket highlight.
- Dropbox on Android.
- Updates to World Cup 2015 squads.

Thank u for Nice Update and new World cup . But in Bangladesh squad Rubel Hossain and Taskin Ahmed - RMF .. But they are Right Hand Fast Bowler in real life. Plz update . Thank u .

HELP! This update has broken the game on a Nexus 6. It simply won't start. First time, it tried to download something, crashed, and since then... nothing. A black screen of death

Quite possibly for the main database, there's likely to be another change for the World Cup database.

I'm sure I saw differences between the aggression levels for David Miller of South Africa last night in the game

"Normal" (so aggression not mentioned) in the World Cup database and "very aggressive" in the International Career one

Will double check tonight!!

Edit - David Miller has different aggression levels are per the above
AB de Villiers is aggressive for the international career but very aggressive for the World Cup

This is the one for me that will make ICC a much different, better experience, cheers for the working on this!

Misbah ul-Haq doesn't get picked in the first XI in the World Cup tournament mode.

Sohail Harris should also get picked I'd say.

Imran Tahir (best performer out of all SA bowlers in ODI cricket), not picked in XI in tournament mode.

David Miller not picked in tournament mode, regular irl.

Mohit Sharma of India is displayed as a batsmen! He's an out and out bowler.

Grant Elliot not picked in tournament mode. He's a regular now irl and should be picked ahead of Latham

Iain Wardlaw for Scotland bats at number 5 in tournament mode and Preston Momson at number 10. Should be the other way around.

Mohammad Naveed of UAE is listed as a medium pacer in game. Bowled at up to 140 irl in the match against Windies.

Just tried the new IOS update.

Once a batsman is selected their preference and average displays which is great and mcuh needed - thanks

... however when you use the left/right arrows at the top of the screen to toggle between other players this information does not change so it appears everyone has the same preferences and average

Not a huge issue I guess as why would you want to be looking at batsmen who arent actually at the crease
... but still not working as it should be I guess.
