Hi all does anyone else feel that player fitness isn't important enough?

Unless a player gets injured then in my experience they seem fully capable of playing every single game in all formats all season.

I feel a bit like use of physio slots should be more important for managing player fitness over the course of a season.

For example my frontline pace bowler who might bowl 50 overs or more in certain first class games in hot weather should be done in after the match and not likely to play a few days later unless I've used a physio slot on him to speed up his return to full match fitness.

I think would make the allocation of budget to physios much more meaningful, be more realistic and reward building strength in depth in your squad as there would be times that rotation would be unavoidable.

    Thoughts?
