Rejoice. We’ve finally found and fixed the big Android bug. Weird thing is it’s code that’s been there for 7 years. It was also causing blank menus on iPad 2. We’ll be putting together a build a this morning for submission. Hopefully quick now that we’ve had a previous build approved.

    A further Android update:

We have some good news and some bad news. Google have now accepted a version of our app, so we should be ready to release quite soon. This was a major hurdle and it’s a huge relief to have achieved this. Unfortunately we have found crash bugs on some of the devices we’re testing on, so can’t release until those are resolved. We’re working hard to fix these now. Hopefully once that’s done Android will be quite quick to process now that we’ve had a build approved.

I speak for a lot of people thinking this on here,
Guys get off their backs! Constant demanding and enquiring about news is not helping anyone’s cause. This is not Sega, just a handful of guys often working 18hrs daily. When news appears Sureshot will post straight away. I’m on IOS too but I’ll wait! Every time I’ve asked for advice Sureshot has replied immediately. Let’s just be patient, it’ll be worth it..

Understand it's been very difficult and you've worked extremely hard, hopefully you'll get over the line soon!
But even a short comment (probably take you a minute)every few days to update fans when they have been eagerly waiting for months would be very useful.

We've been vague with Android this year because Google have been in their replies to us.

The longer we spend updating people when there is no real news to update with the longer it will take for the updates to go live, the more our heads are down the better for everyone.

iOS has been an update behind Steam and Android whilst Charles fixes the blank filters, this has been a very complex issue, he thinks he's nearly there now.
Honestly Sureshot I work in customer experience and the posters on this forum are your most engaged fans and want better engagement which shouldn't be ignored. They're potentially brand ambassadors on all the platforms they want updates for.

Happy to discuss further with you or potentially look to help out on a voluntary basis.

It's sorry to say but it's true, no response on any feedback.

Really is shame that their is no other competition in this market which I really feel will budge thr developers om focusing on improving features which fans have asked for so many years(graphics, drs etc) which have been mentioned countless of times on these forums.
what actually is the point of these forums? because from what I've seen, other than the database updates I dont see any feedback actually being implemented in improving the game .

Seriously cant even be bothered to update your fans? it's getting really silly at this point, so many people have been waiting for android to drop for the last 2 months, and nothing other than a "coming soon" every once in a while. I think its extremely unfair that weve had to wait so long, especially with barely any updates on teh situation. When a version finally drops onto the play store, it immediately gets taken down and we are only told it was a mistake, and no news on when we can expect to have the game.
Quite frankly I dont see the point on giving a penny to a franchise who cant even be bothered to update their fans, and make us wait 2 further months for a game which realistically is just a database update.
Poor customer service, for a game which looks like it will run on my ps2.

It's a huge disservice to the cricket community that such a poor group of developers not only fail to improve their game, but struggle to release it and even notify their fans of an estimated release time.

I will not be purchasing this years "update" and I urge that those who do are given a discount from the original price for the injustice caused.
