does anybody find it annoying that when you start well like 200+/1 you always and i repeat always hv a collapse and end up about 350 all out and hardly get the max batting points. also when u hv a team on the racks at about 120/5 150/6 they will get about 350+ 9times out of ten and u dont even bowl any different to them. anybody hv the same problem

Yeah a middle order batting mostly collapses on a pitch which is good for batting mostly in my game and some times when the conditions are cloudy and helpful for seam bowlers, and when my top order fails, then my tail enders usually score more than top order batsmen even if the aggression for all the batsmen remains on 1/2 bars.Originally posted by lancashire r the best View Postdoes anybody find it annoying that when you start well like 200+/1 you always and i repeat always hv a collapse and end up about 350 all out and hardly get the max batting points. also when u hv a team on the racks at about 120/5 150/6 they will get about 350+ 9times out of ten and u dont even bowl any different to them. anybody hv the same problem

Often, even that doesn't helpOriginally posted by outbreak View PostIf i lose 2-3 quick wickets i drop my aggression down to 1/0 and let them sit out the bowler/conditions for abit. Helps avoid the collapse. Harder in t20s to do this though
Happens with me tooOriginally posted by Kevin Hedger View PostYeah a middle order batting mostly collapses on a pitch which is good for batting mostly in my game and some times when the conditions are cloudy and helpful for seam bowlers, and when my top order fails, then my tail enders usually score more than top order batsmen even if the aggression for all the batsmen remains on 1/2 bars.
, opposition running through my side on a belter, even if I'm always batting them on 1/2 to start with & raise it to 3/normal when they're 30% settled as the game's Tips tells us to do.

Some times the pitch report also misinforms. I am facing this problem a lot. Many times the conditions are apt for batting and sunny weather make it more suitable for batsmen and aweful for any bowler but when I start batting, I loose wickets quickely even though I use to bat an 1 aggression bar. Similarly some times it is hard to get wickets even with cloudy conditions.

Again, this is very common.Originally posted by lancashire r the best View Postdoes anybody find it annoying that when you start well like 200+/1 you always and i repeat always hv a collapse and end up about 350 all out and hardly get the max batting points. also when u hv a team on the racks at about 120/5 150/6 they will get about 350+ 9times out of ten and u dont even bowl any different to them. anybody hv the same problem
The number of times I have had another county on the rack at 160/180 for 7, and then there is the most unlikely partnership happen to get the buggers out of trouble. Very annoying.
It happens in real life too - but maybe too often in the game? - remember England failing to bowl people out when they have the enemy 8 down on more than one occasion.......
I find the best way to deal with tail enders is to up the aggression to 4 bars but keep the field at default 3 plus any personal tweaks required for each batter, and bowl full.

Doesn't all this demonstrate that despite working on the game for years the developers haven't really come to terms with the really basic faults? Yet another feature that really annoys because it leaves the gamer feeling that things are outside his or her control and is likely to make people give up on the game. Hence, fewer sales, hence no money to make improvements.

You said his/her control which is a right term to be used, just wondering if any girl would play ICC?
