He has kept for Australia when Haddin got injured. We wanted to include more part time keepers in the game and his name came up as one. It's not that he's a great keeper, but it's good to have them in the event of keepers getting injured.Originally posted by CyberCricketer View PostHaha, I did, but 60 off 24 is almost impossible for a batsmen with moderate aggression in this game. I also don't like the fact that Mike is a keeper/batsmen now, it just doesn't look right. Does anyone know if he's ever done any keeping?
Game vs Bangladesh will be up soon.
Re the bug, if at all possible could you make a copy of your save game and send an email via the online form at www.childishthings.co.uk telling them about the bug. When they reply, you can send them the save game and they can figure out why it happened and stop it from happening again.Last edited by aus5892; 06-09-2010, 04:07 AM.

Cricket Australia have announced the 15-man squad for their tour of England, which includes a 50-over friendly against county side Middlesex, followed by a five-match ODI series against England:

John Hastings had a very successful run in the recent T20 World Cup, finishing with a ridiculously good bowling average of 11.84 from six matches, and therefore gets an opportunity to prove his one-day credentials. Ponting unsurprisingly returns to the side, with Adam Voges as reserve batsman after his blistering innings of 87* in the World Cup game vs Pakistan. Shaun Marsh is also recalled to the squad.
On the bowling front, Dirk Nannes and Ryan Harris both miss out due to poor World Cup performances, replaced by Doug Bollinger and Clint McKay. Brett Lee is considered a better option than Shaun Tait under the circumstances.Last edited by CyberCricketer; 06-09-2010, 08:06 AM.

Australia Tour England 2010 - One Day Friendly vs Middlesex
The conditions were forecast to be changeable for Australia's warm-up game against Middlesex: a sunny start was set to cloud over and the pitch would favour probably spin.
Australia selected the following XI (in batting order):
1. Phillip Hughes
2. Shaun Marsh
3. Ricky Ponting (c)
4. Michael Clarke
5. Cameron White
6. Adam Voges
7. Brad Haddin (wk)
8. Nathan Hauritz
9. Mitchell Johnson (b2)
10. Brett Lee
11. Clint McKay (b1)
Middlesex won the toss and chose to bat while conditions were favourable. McKay and Johnson shared the first ten overs, conceding only 32 runs but without taking a wicket. They were replaced by Lee and Hauritz: Lee was economical while Hauritz took advantage of the turning pitch to claim the first wicket in the 16th over. This encouraged Ponting to replace Lee with White, and the two spinners set about locking down Middlesex, while taking regular scalps. When the pace bowlers were returned to the attack McKay picked up two and Johnson one. In the final ten overs, Lee and White suffered at the hands of Owais Shah, but his wicket allowed them to break into Middlesex's long tail and bowl them out for 229.
The cloud had come in and the pitch was beginning to break up, but Hughes and Marsh didn't seem to notice as they put on 89 for the first wicket. Hughes was finally bowled for 46, and Marsh was caught behind soon after for 55. Ponting looked assured at the crease as he kept up with the run rate, whilst Clarke and White made nothing of note at the other end. Ponting and Voges didn't want to risk playing expansive shots so they cruised to victory in the second-last over.
All the bowlers were reasonably economical considering the conditions, and both spinners made excellent use of the turning pitch. Australia's top three batsmen look in good form, while Clarke and White will have to spend some time in the nets before the first ODI.

Australia Tour England 2010 - First ODI
This five-match ODI series would allow both teams to give their players some practice against the Old Enemy ahead of the Ashes (not to mention another seven ODIs) later in the year.
Australia made no changes to the squad which beat Middlesex, as the pitch was virtually identical, with cloud forecast throughout the day. Ricky Ponting was hoping to bat before the pitch cracked up, but he lost the toss again and Andrew Strauss annoyingly gave Australia fielding duty.
Strauss's decision seemed to be ludicrous in the first ten overs as McKay and Johnson allowed only 17 runs to be scored! Though Hauritz and White once again took wickets in the middle overs, they were milked for plenty of runs. A strong run rate later on couldn't make up for England's terribly slow start, and Brett Lee ensured they didn't pass 222 as he cleaned up the tail.
Australia's chase began with the loss of Shaun Marsh for a duck. Their prospects didn't improve when Ponting was clean bowled fir 1 in the second over. Clarke and Hughes knuckled down, just keeping up with the run rate before Hughes was back in the pavilion with just 22. White failed again, and just as the target was looking beyond Australia's reach, Clarke and Voges formed a productive partnership, with the former reaching his century. Though both of them were dismissed, Haddin and Hauritz had no problem achieving the total with two overs to spare.

Australia take a 1-0 lead with four games to go.
