My players dropped too many catches and they also got run out more often.. I have some good youth players but they got run out .,
What should i do to control these faults..?
Unfortunately you can't give players fielding practice, but what you can do is look at the CpM (catches per match) column in the squad selection screen.
With the obvious exception of wicket-keepers, this will give you a decent idea of who your best fielders are, and you can then put your best fielders in the most likely catching positions during a game.

You can not do any thing with that even if u would have all the best fielders.
I do not know but it happens a lot in all versions, players drop just too many catches even more than Pakistani team lolz
And in all versions I found the same problem. Players try to get impossible runs and most funny thing is that they are always run out on direct hits.It never happened they you get out with a combination of two players( one throwing and other with catches the ball and remove tha bails)
And after so many versions, this problem is still there. Nothing is done to make it more realistic.
You can learn little from victory, but you can learn everything from defeat
I think there needs to be more comprehensive fielding stats along with the number of catches taken, there should be a percentage for catches taken out all the catches that've ever been presented to each fielder; catches AND stumpings AND "byes-given-per-overs-kept" percentages for Wicketkeepers so that while playing longer forms like FC & Tests, we're able to pick keepers on their keeping abilities rather than just their batting average lest we don't want them dropping important catches/stumpings or giving tons of byes.
For example's sake, ICC can create 4 categories of fielders which players are assigned to but will only perform at their peak in the long-term if they're trained for their fielding:
1)99% & above successful catches rate, very good fielders & catchers anywhere
2)A notch lower compared to the first category when it comes catching & fielding but still very good slippers & very good within the inner ring & reasonably good on the boundaries & close-in catching
3)(mostly bowlers) Good on the boundary-lines in catching as well as fielding, reasonable fielders/catchers within the ring but horrible slippers/close-in-catchers
4)Monty Panesar category , people with good or exceptional bowling or batting skills but not so good in the field, this category should be kept to a minimal count considering the fielding standards of modern cricketing world, especially in ODIs & T20s
In the future versions of cricket along with above or similar categories we should have the ability to train our players with fielding sessions as well for things like slip catching, catches in the ring, catches on the boundary, inner ring fielding, boundary-line fielding, hitting the stumps directly, developing a good throwing arm from the boundary, etc & whatever else.
Specialized training for Wicketkeepers as well for catching, standing up to the stumps for seamers, etc
