Day 1
Session 1: Somerset won the toss and chose to bat. Good start from Trescothick and Kieswetter leaves us on 192-1 after the morning session with Trescothick on 112* and Kieswtter hitting 71 but out and new man Suppiah comes in on 1*.
Session 2: After an impressive start things start to go wrong for Somerset as at the end of session 2 were on 315-7 with Trescothick out for 115 just 2 overs in to session 2 things got worse with a duck from Hildreth and a golden Duck from Butler. At tea though Thomas is on 17* and Trego on 47*.
Session3: After a good hour of the first session Somerset declare at 402-9 with Trego on 94* and Phillips on 32*. Cardiff University get off to the worst possible start though as at the end of day 1 they find themselves on 86-5 as Thomas takes 2 WKTS, Phillips also taking 2 and Trego taking 1.

Session 1: Somerset have another great day in the field getting Cardiff all out for 151. It was Alfonso Thomas who caused the collapse taking 5-39 off just 15 overs, Phillips got 3-54, Trego got 1-35, Waller 1-5 and De Bruyn 0-18. Somerset enforce Follow on. Somerset lead by 253 runs
Session 2: Cardiff began the Fightback well after losing just 2 WKTS for 124 runs and Trego got 1 and the other fell to Max Waller.
Session 3: Session 3 definatley went to Somerset after a 7 WKT collapse from Cardiff after the 3 WKTS of Thomas and Phillips, De Bruyn, Waller and Trego all shared 1 WKT each.

Session 1: Cardiff adding just 5 runs to overnight score as Somerset wrap up victory early with Max Waller putting the cherry on top of the cake for Somerset after INNS and 11 runs victory.
